The Selvin and Friends Foundation believe that the opportunity for children to have a meaningful education is a basic human right and through raising funds, we seek to support the delivery of education in local schools in Central America through providing much needed teaching and school materials to assist with the delivery of education for those who need it the most.

We are Selvin
What a difference a year makes!
We have agreed that we will donate a total of £1200 to two local schools in Guatemala, which will be used to build libraries of books for both current and future generations of children to benefit from. Today we heard that this money should provide in the region of 150 books for each school, which is beyond amazing!
We have also decided that we will purchase a computer and printer to be placed in one of the schools for teachers to prepare and plan their lessons, a vital resource which we know will be put to great use.
Stu and I very much look forward to traveling to Guatemala next month to deliver these school materials in person, and we will also be taking on the following challenge...
Roll on July!

The Edinburgh Marathon Festival
A slightly belated but hugely deserved WELL DONE and THANK YOU to our amazing friends, Stew and Sarah, who ran 40 miles for Selvin and raised over £380 in the process.
This will make such a huge difference in Central America, helping some of the world's poorest children get an education.
